Sheet metal Progressive Die Maker/Die Fitter/Incharge

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Sheet Metal Progressive Die Maker, based in Ludhiana. The role involves working with technical drawings to design, build, and maintain sheet metal progressive dies. Day-to-day tasks include machining, assembling, and testing dies to ensure quality and precision, troubleshooting and repairing production dies, and collaborating with team members to meet production goals. The role also includes maintaining equipment and ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Should know feeder settings and alignement of progressive dies

Qualifications

• Proficiency in die-making techniques, machining, and assembly
• Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes and use of progressive dies
• Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and attention-to-detail skills
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Familiarity with equipment maintenance and a commitment to workplace safety
• Experience with engineering tools such as CAD software is an advantage
• Relevant certifications or a technical diploma in tool and die making
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Previous experience in a similar role in a manufacturing environment is a plus
