ServiceNow SecOps Developer

Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)

Must-Have

1. At least 5+ years experience required with Hands-on design, development, and deployment experience with ServiceNow SecOps applications, including Security Incident Response, Vulnerability Response, and Threat Intelligence.
2. Security Knowledge: Understanding of security operations, incident response, vulnerability management.
3. Proficiency in ServiceNow platform configuration (e.g., workflows, forms, UI policies, ACLs).
4. Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, SQL Server).
5. Experience working with Agile teams, methodologies, and tools in a virtual environment.
6. Strong knowledge of ServiceNow CMDB, ITSM, ITOM, and Security Operations workflows.
7. Proficiency in ServiceNow Scripting (JavaScript, GlideScript, Business Rules, Script Includes, REST APIs).
8. Experience integrating ServiceNow with SIEM, SOAR, vulnerability management, and risk platforms.
9. Hands-on experience with automated workflows, playbooks, and security orchestration.
10. Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks (MITRE ATT&CK, NIST, ISO, GDPR, SOC 2, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, etc.).

Good-to-Have

• Skill in MEAN (MongoDB / Any DB, Express JS, Angular JS, Note JS)
• JavaScript, Bootstrap, Python, SSH and .NET Framework/Java
• Certified ServiceNow System Administrator (CSA)
• Certified Implementation Specialist SecOp
