ServiceNow ITOM Developer (3+ Years Experience)

Were looking for an experienced ServiceNow ITOM Developer to join our IT team and help design, implement, and optimize scalable ITOM solutions. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on expertise with Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, and CMDB, and enjoys driving automation and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and customize ServiceNow ITOM modules (Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, CMDB).
• Ensure CMDB accuracy aligned with CSDM best practices.
• Build integrations with third-party tools (AWS, Azure, monitoring tools) using REST/SOAP APIs and Service Graph Connectors.
• Configure event rules, alert management, and automation workflows.
• Develop scripts (JavaScript/GlideScript) and troubleshoot ITOM and Discovery issues.
• Collaborate with ITSM, ITAM, and infrastructure teams.
• Create documentation and support platform improvements.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of ServiceNow development experience, with 3+ years in ITOM.
• Strong skills in JavaScript, GlideScript, and ServiceNow development.
• Experience with integrations, MID Servers, and infrastructure discovery.
• Knowledge of ITIL v3/v4.
• ServiceNow CSA certification (required); ITOM CIS preferred.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Orchestration, Cloud Management, AIOps, or Agile/Scrum.
• Consulting or advisory background.
