Job Description
Your RoleDesign, develop, and maintain the ServiceNow Configuration Management Database (CMDB), ensuring accurate and up-to-date configuration item (CI) data across the enterprise.Implement and manage integrations between ServiceNow and external systems using APIs, Discovery, and Service Mapping to automate CI population and updates.Establish and enforce CMDB data standards, validation rules, and reconciliation processes to ensure data integrity and compliance with ITIL best practices.Work closely with infrastructure, application, and service management teams to define CI relationships, troubleshoot data issues, and support operational and strategic initiatives.Create dashboards, reports, and documentation to provide visibility into CMDB health, CI lifecycle, and support audits and continuous improvement efforts Your Profile6–9 years of enterprise IT experience with deep expertise in ServiceNow CMDB implementations, including the design, configuration, and deployment of CMDB models, CI classes, and relationship mapping aligned with ITIL standards.Proficient in ServiceNow scripting and system components such as Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Actions, UI Policies, Forms, Notifications, and Web Services, with a focus on CMDB use cases and automation.Proven experience in developing and configuring CMDB modules, CI lifecycle workflows, and data models that align with infrastructure and application architecture, compliance requirements, and organizational policies.Skilled in Service Mapping, Discovery, and integration with third-party systems (e.g., SCCM, SolarWinds, AWS, Azure), delivering scalable, enterprise-grade CMDB solutions with a strong understanding of configuration management best practices.What will you love working at CapgeminiWork with the latest ServiceNow tools and practices aligned with its roadmap for innovative solutions.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including architects, business analysts, and client stakeholders.Contribute to large-scale rollouts and multi-country implementations of CMDB modules.
