As a Analyst, you will capture data to translate and transform it into a processing language and build industry specific solutions based on industry needs, manage and upgrade existing applications
Must-Have
• Experience as a Senior Technical analyst / Architect.
• Serve as primary technical point-of-contact and manage technical delivery from global/offshore teams.
• Understand the current class manager structure and identified the unwanted custom class(which are available in OOTB) and removed from CMDB with standard procedure.
• Gathering Business services and associated application services list and details from client team.
• Coordinate with application and infrastructure teams to understand all layers of the technology stacks that input into event management and service maps.
• Analyze the current status of the instance and prepare the project plan to apply the CSDM model in the environment
• Define, at an architectural and design level of detail, technical solutions aligned and ServiceNow Implementation Best Practices on event management • Understand customer requirements, study the current configuration and translate to solutions, and communicate to clients.
• Experience in implementing various IT Service Management processes like Incident Management, Change Management, Problem Management, Knowledge Management, Service Catalog and defining ITIL Process
• Expertise ServiceNow deployments, integration with other third party tools, Orchestration, operational activities, Project Management expertise and merging multiple instances.
• Worked on End to End implementation of CMDB module using Discovery tool in ServiceNow
• Wide exposure on ServiceNow ITOM Implementation, Configuration and Customization
• Ability to listen, interpret, strategize and consult on complex business processes and technical concepts
• Experience with scripting in the ServiceNow platform using JS: Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Actions, UI Pages, Angular JS, Jelly, etc
• Working knowledge of IT Operations Management and CMDB Processes (Event Management, Discovery, Service Mapping, CMDB/CSDM, Cloud Management, Orchestration)
• Expertise in Custom module implementations.
• Working experience on Workflow administration, SNOW Reporting, Form/UI configurations, Notifications, dat a imports, custom scripting.
Good-to-Have
• Evaluate the tool stability and performance and provide recommendations
• Participate and provide feedback during planning meetings (i.e., pre-iteration, and retrospectives).
• Review, and do proactive analyze and resolve application issues as needed.
• Define and document best practices and strategies regarding application deployment and infrastructure maintenance
• Knowledge on new servicenow modules
Responsibility
• Translate business requirements into technical architecture of the proposed solution taking
advantage of out of box functionality minimizing required customization.
• Define technical solutions for architecture and design that are aligned with clients’
business problems and ServiceNow ITOM / CMDB implementation best practices.
• Worked on Discovery and set up mid servers and check for the connectivity, Became an
expert in troubleshooting Discovery tool.
• Installed and configured collectors, configured credentials and built service mapping.
• Responsible for the implementation of ServiceNow ITSM suite, Discovery, CMDB, Event
Management, Service Mapping.
• Worked on Service Mapping to define business services, troubleshoot the discovery and
mapping process as well as create new discovery patterns.
• Experience on Migrating from Probes to Patterns.
• Worked on Business Service mapping and wrote scripts in the sensors to map CI's so that
the end user can have a graphical representation of CI's and their relationship through BSM.
• Worked on ITOM / CMDB Products; Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management,
Orchestration, Cloud Management, including ServiceNow Common Service Data Model
• Implemented Integration of Microsoft SCCM with ServiceNow for pulling the entire
configuration item into ServiceNow.
• Contribute to the continual improvement of Delivery processes and the maturing of the
ITOM / CMDB practice.
