Key Responsibilities


  • Lead the design, implementation, and ongoing management of the ServiceNow CMDB.
  • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and integrity of configuration data across the enterprise.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT Operations, Security, Development) to integrate CMDB with ServiceNow ITOM tools and processes.
  • Analyze existing CMDB data, relationships, and workflows to identify and implement improvements.
  • Support Incident, Problem, and Change Management by maintaining reliable configuration data.
  • Monitor CMDB health, data quality, and compliance; implement corrective actions as required.
  • Provide technical expertise on CMDB architecture, data models, and ServiceNow ITOM capabilities.
  • Stay updated with ServiceNow releases and ITOM trends to enhance CMDB functionality and performance.


Qualifications

  • Proficiency in ServiceNow ITOM modules such as Discovery, Event Management, and Service Mapping
  • Experience with Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and knowledge of ITIL processes
  • Strong skills in scripting, integrations, and automation using ServiceNow
  • 711 years of experience in ServiceNow CMDB, preferably within the ITOM domain.
  • Strong understanding of CMDB data models, CI relationships, discovery, and service mapping.
  • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow ITOM modules (Discovery, Event Management, Service Mapping preferred).
  • Solid knowledge of ITIL processes and configuration management best practices.
  • Experience with CMDB governance, audits, and data quality management.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and stakeholder communication skills.
  • ServiceNow certification(s) in CMDB / ITOM will be an added advantage.
