Role Description

The ServiceNow Integration Expert will be responsible for migration, modernization of legacy workflows into a ServiceNow-led automation using IntegrationHub and RPAHub. This role requires deep hands-on expertise in ServiceNow automation capabilities, Workflow Data Fabric.

Implement automation through ServiceNow out-of-the-box spokes, Integration Hub, RPA Hub, APIs, scripts, while establishing governance and architectural standards in ServiceNow.

Experience

• 7+ years of experience in Workflow Data Fabric, Integration Hub, ServiceNow platform engineering
• 3+ years as a technical expert role using ServiceNow Workflow Data Fabric (WDF) and Integration Hub.
• Proven experience in ServiceNow Integration using Integration Hub, RPA Hub, WDF.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and govern the ServieNow Integration using:
• ServiceNow Out-of-the-Box Spokes
• ServiceNow Integration Hub
• RPA Hub
• API and Script based automation (APIs, batch jobs, orchestration scripts)
• Establish reference blue prints for design patterns, and reusable components

• Migrate legacy workflows into:
• ServiceNow-native automation using Integration Hub Spokes, AI Agents, External Content Connectors, Stream Connect, Zero Copy Connectors, RPA Hub
• Script/API-based automation
• Hybrid automation patterns (ServiceNow orchestration + external execution)
• Ensure automation designs are scalable, secure, auditable, and supportable
• Reduce tool sprawl by consolidating automation into the strategic platform

• Define automation governance models, including:
• Design standards
• Reusability principles
• Exception handling and observability
• Security and compliance controls
• Establish decision frameworks for when to use:
• ServiceNow OOTB capabilities
• Integration Hub
• API/scripts
• Custom AI agents
• Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture and ServiceOps strategy

• Create and maintain a prioritized automation backlog aligned to business value
• Work closely with Product Owners and Architects to:
• Break down automation initiatives into iterative deliverables
• Enable incremental value realization
• Guide developers through iterative implementation, testing, and deployment

• Provide hands-on technical guidance to:
• Automation engineers
• RPA developers
• ServiceNow developers
• Conduct design reviews, code reviews, and architecture walkthroughs
• Build team capability in:
• Agentic automation
• Python scripting
• ServiceNow automation

Experience with:

• ServiceNow Integration Hub
• RPA Hub
• Out-of-the-box ServiceNow agents
• Flow Designer and orchestration patterns

Familiarity with ServiceNow as a strategic automation and ServiceOps platform.

• API-based automation
• Batch processing
• Orchestration and control logic

Experience designing or integrating agentic AI solutions.

Understanding of AI-driven decisioning vs rule-based automation.

• Any RPA tool
• Knowledge of ITSM, ITOM, and ServiceOps/ITIL processes
• Familiarity with enterprise security and audit requirements for automation

• Experience working in Agile / Scaled Agile delivery models
