ServiceNow Developer

About the Role:

At Verdantas , the ServiceNow Developer plays a key role in crafting and enhancing powerful ServiceNow applications and integrations.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain scalable workflows, custom modules, and integrations that optimize service delivery and streamline operations. If you have a passion for solving complex problems with cutting-edge technology and enjoy working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain ServiceNow applications, workflows, and custom modules.
• Build and integrate AI-powered virtual agents and automation solutions within the ServiceNow platform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
• Develop and maintain integrations with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs and AI services.
• Implement and optimize ServiceNows Virtual Agent and Natural Language Understanding (NLU) capabilities.
• Hands-on experience as a developer in building ServiceNow modules, particularly in the ITAM module, including both HAM and SAM.
• Ensure code quality, performance, and adherence to best practices in both ServiceNow and AI development.

Core Competencies:

• Technical Proficiency: Expertise in JavaScript, Glide scripting, ServiceNow Studio, REST/SOAP APIs.
• AI Integration: Familiarity with ServiceNow Virtual Agent, Microsoft Bot Framework, or similar AI tools.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and debugging skills for effective issue resolution.
• Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a global environment.
• Documentation: Strong ability to create and maintain technical documentation throughout the development lifecycle.

Required Qualifications:

• BE/B. Tech in Computer Science or IT or degree in a relevant field.
• 4-7 years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining ServiceNow applications and integrations.
• Strong Verbal and Written Communication skills
