Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow ITSM Developer with a strong foundation in platform scripting and system integrations . The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in designing, developing, and enhancing ITSM solutions while building robust integrations with external systems. This role demands deep technical knowledge of ServiceNow scripting, APIs, and automation to support scalable enterprise IT operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and enhance ServiceNow ITSM modules including Incident, Change, Problem, and Request Management.
• Develop and customize server-side and client-side scripts using Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Actions, and Flow Designer.
• Build, test, and maintain integrations with third-party systems using REST and SOAP APIs.
• Configure and manage MID Servers and troubleshoot integration and data flow issues.
• Implement workflow automation and optimize existing processes for performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Perform unit testing, code reviews, debugging, and performance tuning.
• Maintain technical documentation for customizations, scripts, and integrations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow ITSM development .
• Strong expertise in JavaScript and ServiceNow Glide APIs .
• Proven experience with Script Includes, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Actions, and Flow Designer .
• Hands-on experience with REST and SOAP-based integrations .
• Good understanding of ServiceNow security model , including ACLs, roles, and data access controls.
• Experience in troubleshooting and optimizing scripts and integrations.
• Working knowledge of ITIL processes and best practices.
