Title: ServiceNow Developer

Duration: 12 Months (Contract to hire)

Location: Hyderabad, TN

Work Schedule: 3x Hybrid

Shift: 12:00 PM 9:00 PM IST (Agile ceremonies 7:30 AM Central / 8:30 AM Eastern)

Role Overview

This is a contract-to-hire ServiceNow Developer role focused on core platform development, with a strong emphasis on the Automated Test Framework (ATF). The team is seeking a mid- to senior-level developer who can work independently within an established ServiceNow and ATF framework, expand automated test coverage, and participate fully in agile ceremonies across a globally distributed team.

Main Need:

A ServiceNow developer-first candidate with solid ATF skillsspecifically someone who can extend and maintain automated tests while continuing to build and support core ServiceNow functionality, with the intent to convert to full-time employment after the contract period.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain ServiceNow solutions across core ITSM modules
• Write and maintain business rules, client scripts, and related ServiceNow scripting
• Build, extend, and maintain ATF test cases within an existing framework
• Contribute additional ATF test coverage to support ongoing platform maturity
• Participate in agile ceremonies and collaborate with global stakeholders
• Support ongoing digital initiatives upon conversion to full-time employment

Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of ServiceNow development experience (Looking for a lead level)
• Strong hands-on ServiceNow development background (not a testing-only role)
• Experience working with:
• ITSM modules (Incident, Problem, etc.)
• CMDB
• Integrations
• ATF experience is required:
• Ability to add and enhance test cases within an existing ATF framework
• Not responsible for designing ATF from scratch
• Solid scripting experience (business rules, client scripts)
• Mid-level to senior-level capability with the ability to work with minimal supervision

Certifications

• Required: ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA / first-level certification)
• Preferred: Additional ServiceNow certifications (not required)

Interview Process - Two-round interview process

1. First Round

• Panel interview with Hyderabad and Chennai team members
• High-level technical discussion
• Focus on:
• ServiceNow development experience
• ATF knowledge
• Question-based only (no hands-on exercise)

2. Second Round (Final) Onsite

• Conducted by the hiring manager
• Focused on overall project readiness and team fit
