ServiceNow Automation Engineer

The ServiceNow Automation Engineer will be an integral part of the Colleague Service team updating our ServiceNow application, workflows and integration to deliver all-inclusive user experiences. This is an opportunity to transform how colleague facing services are delivered at LSEG.

Working closely with Technical ITSM teams and wider business customers, the ServiceNow Automation Engineer will implement technical changes to ServiceNow based on business requirements provided by the EUC Multi-functional Support Team to deliver groundbreaking service improvements!

Key Accountabilities

• Design, develop and maintain ServiceNow applications, workflows and integrations according to business requirements and standard process
• Configure and customise ServiceNow modules including Incident, Problem, Change, Asset and Service Request Management
• Support the development and execution of ServiceNow stories in line with LSEGs ServiceNow Agile sprint methodology
• Develop and implement workflows, business rules, UI policies, client scripts and scheduled jobs
• Produce and carry out detailed system and functional testing as part of sprint cycles
• Support system upgrades ensuring minimal disruption to business operations
• Collaborate with colleagues  and customers to capture requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Provide technical mentorship and support to the Multi-functional Support team
• Document configurations, customisation and processes according to LSEG’s

Essential Skills

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow development and Agile/SCRUM methodologies
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in implementing ITIL process with ServiceNow with experience of ServiceNow modules ITSM, CMDB, ITOM and CSM
• Experience of implementing ServiceNow REST APIs
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work with a wide range of customers.

Education and Professional Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
• ServiceNow Certified Systems Administrator
• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist
