Job Description: We are currently looking for a Software Engineer interested in Cloud Infrastructure and Automation. The Site Reliability Engineers in Sovos should have a good understanding of Applications, Cloud architecture and is proficient with Monitoring tools and Technologies. Develop, operate, and optimize Internal Tools used to deploy, monitor, alert, secure, and troubleshoot Sovos applications in the GVAT Line of Business. Contribution to tools development and shaping the operational side of the Sovos applications. Participate with Platform team in building efficient pipelines. Set up systems, software, and experiments; Test and verify features, tools, processes. Contribute to the quality of service and uptime of the Sovos GVAT Applications. Roles and Responsibilities: Experience in application monitoring, data storage, and cloud infrastructure. Understanding of the software delivery lifecycle, experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery tools such as Azure DevOps or TeamCity Familiar with infrastructure as code (e.g. Terraform, CloudFormation, or Puppet) Worked with cloud deployment, monitoring, and operation analysis tools (eg. Scalyr, Nagios, AppDynamics, or Prometheus/Grafana) Team mentality and willingness to share knowledge and ideas Great communication skills, written and verbal Advanced in English (multi-regional team)
