Job Locations: Bhiwandi (Maharashtra), Howrah (West Bengal), Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh)
Reporting To: Service Manager / Technical Head
Salary: 2.5 LPA 4 LPA
Role Purpose
The Service Engineer will be responsible for installation, troubleshooting, repair, and technical support of agricultural and power equipment including reapers, brush cutters, power weeders, chainsaws, water pumps, sprayers, HTP pumps, battery sprayers, fogging machines, high-pressure washers, and related machinery under the Really and Mitsuyama brands.
This role requires strong hands-on technical expertise, field service capability, and customer support orientation to ensure high product reliability, minimal downtime, and strong dealer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
1. Product Installation & Commissioning
Perform installation, setup, and testing of machines at dealer locations or customer sites.
Provide product demonstration and operational training to dealers, mechanics, and end users.
2. Troubleshooting & Repair
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and basic engine-related faults across petrol engines, pump systems, transmission units, cutting assemblies, spraying systems, and washer mechanisms.
Carry out repair, servicing, and preventive maintenance to ensure reliable equipment performance.
Ensure quick turnaround time for complaint resolution and minimal equipment downtime.
3. Dealer & Customer Technical Support
Provide technical guidance and service training to dealers, technicians, and service partners.
Handle service complaints, warranty inspections, and technical queries from the field.
Build strong after-sales relationships with dealers and customers.
4. Spare Parts & Warranty Coordination
Identify spare parts requirements and coordinate availability with internal teams.
Support warranty verification, documentation, and claim processing as per company policy.
5. Field Visits, Service Camps & Exhibitions
Travel for field service visits, demo support, exhibitions, and service camps as required.
Assist in new product trials and collect technical feedback from the market.
6. Reporting & Technical Feedback
Maintain accurate service reports, complaint logs, and resolution timelines.
Share recurring failure analysis, improvement suggestions, and field insights with management and product teams.
Candidate Profile
Education
ITI / Diploma / Degree in Mechanical, Automobile, Electrical, or related technical field.
Experience
25 years of hands-on service experience in:
Agricultural machinery
Small gasoline engines or pump systems
Sprayers, HTP pumps, battery sprayers, fogging machines, high-pressure washers, or similar equipment
Experience with Really / Mitsuyama or equivalent product category preferred.
Skills Required
Strong mechanical and basic electrical troubleshooting capability
Understanding of petrol engines, pump pressure systems, carburetors, transmission systems, and spraying/washer mechanisms
Ability to independently handle field service work
Good communication with dealers, technicians, and farmers
Basic reporting using mobile apps, WhatsApp, or Excel
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Service complaint resolution time
First-time repair success rate
Warranty claim accuracy
Dealer and customer satisfaction score
Reduction in repeat technical issues
