What would you do? Accenture seeks a Sourcing Manager to lead sourcing projects end to end and collaborate with internal and external clients to lead identified sourcing events related to various spend areas for different categories (i.e., Industrial Operations, Energy & Equipment, Maintenance Services, Chemicals). The resource will have a proven track record in leading and managing multiple sourcing projects, demonstrate 5 years + category experience, project manage, strong negotiation skills and the ability to analyse and recommend supplier selection in a client as well as negotiate and close both the commercial and legal terms in a contract. This role enables stakeholders in the Supply Chain to understand the intent of contracts, optimise the use of contracts, manage Contractor(s) for performance. ? What are we looking for? Category Specific Skill o Should have strong experience in the desired category, strong presentation and communication skills, track record in sourcing, analytical and presentation skills Required A degree level (Business/Engineering); MCIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) Qualification would be preferred but not mandatory. 3-5 years working experience in managing oil & gas projects in either downstream or upstream. Comprehensive experience within Contracting & Procurement (CP) preferred but not mandatory. Proven track record of execution excellence & delivering results. Able to adjust global strategies to the current situation of the local business and market conditions. Highly driven, can do, inspiring, able to articulate in a crisp and precise manner. Understand the business, the end-to-end process in the Supply Chain and is able to communicate in business language. Uncompromising on HSSE, ethics & compliance, Continuous Improvement, and simplification mindset.
Roles and Responsibilities: This role includes all the following key responsibilities. Please review these in conjunction with career-level guidelines to understand the expectations for this role. Lead Sourcing Projects o Lead without guidance execution of sourcing projects to contract closure o Demonstrate the ability to negotiate both incumbent renewals or as part of a RFP process o Drive total cost reductions and value beyond the usual. Identify opportunities in the contract portfolio to create more value and/or to eliminate waste. o Determine the right remuneration model (e.g., output-based contract) to encourage the right behaviors and expectations from suppliers to optimize alignment of supply chain and asset delivery. o Manage and lead the execution of contracting related activities in Project and Turnaround execution and key services contract implementation o Knowledge and experience in desired category. o Strong hands-on experience working on ERP systems such as Jaggaer, Ariba, SAP, etc. o Interact with key customer and internal stakeholders and work closely with them to identify o areas of improvement and leverage best practices o Offer creative solutions to support the overall sourcing program and achieve desired results o To ensure timely project deliverables with the defined quality standards o Will be responsible for creating & presenting the deliverables to Client/Internal global team o members o A track record of strong collaboration and ability to influence outcomes. o Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data to create recommendations
