What would you do? The Procurement Sourcing & Contracting CL9 is responsible for supporting the delivery of services to stakeholders and category leads including but not limited to strategic sourcing, contract negotiations, supplier performance management, price management, savings/compliance reporting, continuous improvement and ongoing cost reductions, supply market monitoring, and issue resolution. You will be working as a part of Procurement management team which uses a systematic approach for buying all the goods and services needed for a company to stay sustainable. They are involved in the identification of need, finding and qualifying the suppliers, requesting proposals, negotiating with suppliers, contracting, delivery and analyzing results. Operational procurement is defined as the procurement of the goods or services that are needed to sustain the daily operation of a business.
What are we looking for? We are seeking a dynamic individual with a strong background ideally in HR services, particularly in external talent resourcing and recruitment requirements. The candidate should have: Experience: Minimum of 5 years in sourcing, contract negotiations, and supplier management. Proven knowledge of procurement methodology and successful negotiation of purchasing agreements. Contracting and Sourcing: Expertise in leading contracting (negotiation, drafting, analysis) and sourcing projects. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including formal presentation abilities. Adaptable communication style to fit varied corporate cultures and organizational structures. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail. Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, with the ability to integrate outputs with tools like Power BI and Vendor Management Systems (VMS). Autonomy and Initiative: An independent self-starter who thrives on challenges and delivering strong results. Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple projects, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines. Team Player: A desire to learn and deliver as a true team player. Forward-thinking and solution-minded. Stakeholder Management: Good stakeholder management, relationship-building, and communication skills aligned with a proactive customer-focused approach. Roles and Responsibilities: As part of the External Talent team for the UKIA MU, you will work closely with the ET Category Lead and stakeholders to ensure the delivery of category objectives. Your key responsibilities will include: Supplier Engagement: Engage with suppliers and local teams, such as business legal, to ensure contracts are updated via new agreements and amendments. Should negotiate with minimum support and also be able to highlight key risks during negotiations to the category lead. Contract Review and Analysis: Periodically review and analyze existing contracts, collaborating with the lead and legal teams to update local agreements for various services. Understanding of local regulations and policies: Getting well versed with local legislation of the respective country you support and ensure compliance via contracts and inform other internal stakeholders if there are potential deviations. Sourcing Support: Support complex sourcing exercises and lead smaller RFIs and RFPs to deliver the category strategy and market unit objectives. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work collaboratively with suppliers and stakeholders to communicate and support sourcing and category management activities. Also work closely with senior stakeholders in understanding their adhoc requirements and provide solutions. Data Analysis: Provide analysis for necessary sourcing activities to maintain the competitiveness of category contracts. Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to support their effective delivery in the category. KPI Reporting: Contribute to KPI reporting of supplier performance, identifying opportunities for data to improve the delivery of our category strategy. Global and Market Unit Relationships: Develop good working relationships with stakeholders at both the global and market unit levels. Support Functions: Assist in sales & business development, spend & contract analysis, and category planning activities.
