What would you do? You will be aligned with our Finance Operations vertical and will be helping us in determining financial outcomes by collecting operational data/reports, whilst conducting analysis and reconciling transactions. Posting journal entries, preparing balance sheet reconciliations, reviewing entries and reconciliations, preparing cash forecasting statement, supporting month end closing, preparing reports and supports in audits. Posting direct tax and indirect tax and GST s and returns In Tax Process Design, you will be designing and implementing processes for direct Tax/income tax. This includes direct tax/income tax planning, income tax accounting, income tax compliance and income tax audit.

Roles and Responsibilities: 1. At least 3 year experience in Australian Tax and related activities. 2. Will be responsible for : a. Preparation and lodgments of monthly/quarterly ATO lodgments (BAS and Instalment Activity Statements). b. Prepare income tax calculations and assist in the preparation of income tax return schedules. c. Preparation of annual Fringe Benefits Tax returns, including relevant supporting workpapers and liaising with internal stakeholders for the collection of data. d. Assist in the preparation of tax effect accounting calculations at half and full year. e. Preparation and lodgement of annual Withholding Tax returns. f. Preparation and lodgement of annual Payroll Tax returns. g. Management and upkeep of tax software solutions h. Assist the team members to manage the external auditors and professional advisors. i. Assistance with the Statutory Taxation Authority reviews, including ATO Income Tax and GST assurance reviews. j. Assist with identifying and implementing process improvements to optimise efficiencies. k. Maintain and update tax manuals and process documentation. 3. Given the critical nature of master data accuracy, meticulous attention to detail is essential. 4. Should have knowledge of using analytical tools and techniques related to Tax 5. It is required to be proactive in managing data quality issues and be driven by a solution-oriented approach to ensure quality is uplifted. 6. Required to be flexible and adopt best practices. Having an urge or willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and methodologies. 7. Maintain robust internal controls. 8. Effective communication in English, both verbally and in writing, is essential.
