What would you do? Position Title: Vendor Master Specialist Summary: The Vendor Master Specialist plays a crucial role in maintaining accurate and up-to-date vendor information within the organization s systems. They are responsible for creating, updating, and maintaining vendor master records, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, and supporting various departments with vendor-related inquiries and requests. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to data accuracy. Data Integrity and Quality Assurance: Conduct regular audits of vendor master data to identify and correct discrepancies, inconsistencies, and duplicate records. Ensure data integrity by validating vendor information against supporting documentation and conducting periodic reviews of vendor accounts. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve data-related issues and improve data accuracy and completeness. Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures governing vendor master data management. Stay informed about regulatory requirements related to vendor information, tax compliance, and data privacy, and ensure adherence to relevant regulations. Identify and mitigate risks associated with vendor data management, such as fraud, data breaches, and non-compliance. Vendor Relations and Support: Serve as a primary point of contact for internal stakeholders regarding vendor master data inquiries, requests, and escalations. Collaborate with procurement, accounts payable, and other departments to resolve vendor-related issues, address payment discrepancies, and facilitate vendor onboarding and offboarding processes. Provide training and guidance to internal users on vendor master data processes, system functionality,
