Service Delivery Manager

Role Overview

• Experienced Agile Delivery Lead / Scrum Master for Platform Engineering teams
• Focus on agile execution, cloud platform delivery, and enterprise alignment
• Work closely with architecture, security, and business stakeholders

Key Responsibilities

Agile Delivery Leadership

• Serve as Scrum Master for Platform Engineering squads
• Facilitate sprint planning, backlog refinement, retrospectives, and PI planning (SAFe)
• Track delivery health, cycle time, throughput, and dependencies
• Remove delivery impediments and ensure smooth execution
• Drive predictable release management for infrastructure changes
• Manage backlog, capacity planning, and value-driven prioritization
• Partner with Architecture and Security for strategic alignment
• Establish documentation for platform roadmap (cloud, CDN, WAF)
• Define and track SLAs, SLOs, and KPIs

Cloud & Edge Platform Governance

• Oversee delivery across:
• AWS infrastructure (ECS, EKS, IAM, networking, observability)
• Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services
• Fastly CDN (configuration, caching, edge compute)
• Signal Sciences WAF (security policies, rule management)
• Coordinate change management in high-risk production environments
• Ensure platform security, compliance, and resiliency standards
• Support governance for multi-cloud and edge platforms

Stakeholder & Vendor Management

• Act as liaison between engineering, security, DevOps, and application teams
• Coordinate with cloud/CDN vendors for escalations and roadmap alignment
• Communicate delivery progress, risks, and metrics to leadership
• Drive quarterly planning and investment discussions

Required Qualifications

• 510+ years in Agile delivery / Platform Product / Technical Program Management
• Experience leading Agile teams in cloud-native or DevOps environments
• Strong knowledge of:
• AWS
• GCP
• Fastly CDN
• Signal Sciences WAF
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform preferred)
• Understanding of networking, CDN caching, and WAF security controls
• Experience managing production changes in high-availability systems
• Strong metrics-driven mindset (cycle time, reliability, availability)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in digital commerce or high-traffic platforms
• Knowledge of edge computing and zero-trust security
• Certifications: SAFe / Scrum / PMP
• Experience in multi-cloud strategy and FinOps
• Background in SRE or DevOps environments
