Job Description: L2 Storage & Server Administrator (VDI)

Location: Ghaziabad

PRIMARY SKILLS

Server & VDI Administration

• Monitor and troubleshoot Blade servers, chassis, VxRail, and management servers
• Perform firmware updates, security patching, and log analysis
• Coordinate with OEM vendors for hardware issues
• Monitor vCenter (read-only)
• Support DC migration, microcode upgrades , and documentation (SOP, POA)

Storage Administration (PowerMax / ENAS / NAS)

• Perform PowerMax health checks
• Create/expand SRP, Storage Groups, LUNs, masking views
• Manage NAS file systems, shares, quotas, and departmental drives
• Handle volume expansion, performance issues, and connectivity problems
• Perform snapshot cleanup, bandwidth control, and ENAS expansion
• Coordinate with OEM for storage incidents

SECONDARY SKILLS

Backup Administration

• Manage Networker backups and tape operations
• Monitor Data Domain health
• Perform backup, restore, and recovery activities

Security & Compliance

• Follow change management
• Apply OS, firmware, and security patches
• Implement VAPT recommendations, ACL, and firewall updates
• Ensure secure data deletion

General Responsibilities

• Support DR activities and SOP creation
• Monitor alerts and ensure SLA compliance
• Provide backup support to Storage & Backup L2 engineer

Skills Required

• Strong experience with PowerMax, ENAS, NAS
• Hands-on VDI & VxRail infrastructure
• Backup tools: Networker, Data Domain
• Server & chassis hardware management
