We are building a strong organic growth engine and looking for someone who can drive search visibility and inbound traffic.

Role Overview

This role focuses on executing and scaling the SEO strategy for Steps AI. You will work across technical SEO, content SEO, and search growth, ensuring our content ranks across both traditional search and emerging AI-driven search platforms.

What You'll Do

• Execute and scale the overall SEO strategy
• Work across on-page, off-page, and technical SEO
• Optimize content for AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) and GEO (Generative Engine Optimization)
• Conduct keyword research and search intent analysis
• Collaborate with content and marketing teams on SEO-driven content
• Use AI tools to improve SEO workflows and research
• Monitor rankings, traffic, and search performance using tools like Google Search Console and Ahrefs
• Identify new organic growth opportunities and search trends

What We're Looking For

• 23 years of hands-on SEO experience
• Strong understanding of all SEO verticals (technical, on-page, off-page)
• Knowledge of AEO and GEO strategies
• Comfortable using AI tools for SEO research and optimization
• Analytical mindset with ability to translate data into action
• Basic understanding of technical concepts (HTML, website structure, indexing)
• A strong pull towards the startup world you want to own the entire SEO function, not just handle a slice of it inside a large team. You're energized by building an organic growth engine from scratch and comfortable figuring things out without a detailed playbook handed to you.
