Job Description

Job Description - VelivoHR is looking for SEO Executive for one of their client who is a leading digital marketing agency in Mumbai.


Location - Mumbai, Maharshtra.

Key Responsibilities

1. SEO & AEO Strategy

  • Build and execute complete SEO and AEO strategies aligned with client goals.
  • Develop SEO roadmaps, keyword frameworks, topical authority plans, and content structures.
  • Identify growth opportunities through audits, competitor analysis, and trend monitoring.
  • Optimize for traditional search results as well as answer-based platforms.

2. On-Page Optimization

  • Perform detailed keyword research and implement keyword mapping across pages.
  • Optimize metadata, headings, URL structure, content hierarchy, and internal linking.
  • Ensure content quality through topical depth, E-E-A-T alignment, question-based writing, and answer-ready formats.
  • Implement structured data: FAQ, HowTo, Product, Article, Organization, Review, etc.

3. Technical SEO

  • Conduct complete technical audits to resolve issues related to crawling, indexing, Core Web Vitals, schema, canonicalization, redirects, sitemaps, and robots.txt.
  • Work closely with developers to ensure technical best practices and site performance improvements.
  • Monitor site health, page experience, and speed optimization.

4. AEO (Answer Engine Optimization)

  • Optimize content for Featured Snippets, People Also Ask, AI Overviews, and conversational search.
  • Create clear, concise, answer-focused content structures (FAQs, How-To, Guides, Definitions).
  • Track visibility across multiple answer engines and optimize based on performance.

5. Off-Page SEO & Authority Building

  • Plan and execute link-building and digital PR initiatives.
  • Build high-quality backlinks through outreach, partnerships, and content promotion.
  • Monitor and maintain the health of backlink profiles.

6. Reporting & Analytics

  • Create detailed performance reports with insights, trends, and actionable recommendations.
  • Track keyword rankings, traffic patterns, conversions, and overall site performance.
  • Present insights to clients and internal stakeholders.

7. Collaboration & Leadership

  • Coordinate with content, design, media, and tech teams to ensure SEO alignment.
  • Guide junior team members and support in task allocation or quality checking as required.
  • Participate in pitches, proposals, and performance reviews for key accounts.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 35 years of hands-on SEO experience with strong technical, on-page, and off-page expertise.
  • Proven experience in AEO, semantic search, structured data, and AI-driven search visibility.
  • Proficiency with SEO tools (GA4, GSC, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Moz, etc.).
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex data.
  • Basic understanding of HTML/CSS/JS.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and client-handling skills.


Preferred Skills

  • Experience in ecommerce, large websites, or multilingual SEO.
  • Exposure to AI-based content optimization tools and automation.
  • Certifications in SEO, Analytics, or Digital Marketing are a plus.
