Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented SEO Intern to join our digital marketing team. The intern will support SEO activities to improve website visibility, organic traffic, and search engine rankings.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in conducting detailed keyword research, including short-tail and long-tail keywords, to support content and SEO strategies
• Support on-page SEO activities such as optimizing meta titles, meta descriptions, headings (H1H6), image alt tags, and internal linking structures
• Help optimize website pages and blog content to improve search engine visibility and user experience
• Assist in basic technical SEO tasks, including checking indexing status, page speed, broken links, redirects, and sitemap updates
• Monitor and analyse website performance using tools like Google Analytics and Google Search Console to track traffic, impressions, and keyword rankings
• Support off-page SEO initiatives by assisting in backlink research, outreach tracking, and link profile analysis
• Conduct competitor research to understand SEO strategies, content gaps, and ranking opportunities
• Maintain SEO reports, keyword trackers, and performance dashboards on a regular basis
• Collaborate with content and marketing teams to ensure SEO best practices are followed
• Stay updated with the latest SEO trends, search engine algorithm updates, and industry best practices

• Basic understanding of SEO concepts (training or self-learning is sufficient)
• Basic knowledge of Google tools like Google Analytics or Search Console
• Basic computer skills and comfort using Google Sheets / Excel
• Good written communication and research skills
• Willingness to learn keyword research and content optimisation

Internship Details:

• This is a 3-month unpaid internship designed for learning and skill development
• Interns will receive hands-on training, mentorship, and real project exposure
• After successful completion of internship, interns will be offered an opportunity to transition into a full-time role based on performance.
