A Day in the Life

Our Global Diabetes Capability Center in Pune is expanding to serve more people living with diabetes globally. Our state-of-the-art facility is dedicated to transforming diabetes management through innovative solutions and Technologies that reduce the burden of living with diabetes. The Senior WebMethods Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining integration solutions using the WebMethods platform. This role involves working with cross-functional teams to understand integration requirements, develop robust solutions, and ensure seamless data flow between systems.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in WebMethods, a solid understanding of integration patterns, and the ability to deliver high-quality solutions in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Design, develop, and implement integration solutions using WebMethods, including integration flows, services, and APIs.

  • Develop and maintain WebMethods components such as Integration Server, Designer, and Trading Networks.

  • Create and manage mappings, transformations, and data exchanges between disparate systems.

  • Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and analyze integration requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

  • Design integration architectures that meet business needs and ensure scalability, reliability, and performance.

  • Create technical documentation, including design documents, process flows, and integration specifications.

  • Perform unit testing and debugging of integration solutions to ensure functionality and performance.

  • Support deployment activities, including the migration of integration components across different environments (e.g., development, testing, production).

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to integration processes and components.

  • Work closely with other developers, architects, and project teams to ensure successful integration and alignment with overall system architecture.

  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for integration-related issues, collaborating with other teams as needed.

  • Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and team meetings to ensure alignment with project goals and best practices.

  • Monitor and maintain existing integration solutions to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

  • Identify opportunities for improvement and optimization of integration processes and components.

  • Stay current with WebMethods updates, new features, and industry trends to enhance integration capabilities.

 

Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • WebMethods certification (e.g., WebMethods Developer, WebMethods Integration Server).

  • Experience with Java, SQL, and other programming languages related to integration development.

  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and project management tools.

  • Knowledge of cloud integration platforms and technologies.
