Expansion Desk is hiring for remote Senior Web Developer - (WordPress - Shopify)

Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Senior Web Developer specializing in WordPress and Shopify. The responsibilities of this role include developing, maintaining, and optimizing websites, primarily utilizing WordPress and Shopify. The candidate will work on front-end and back-end development, implement web design best practices, integrate third-party tools and APIs, and troubleshoot potential performance and functionality issues. Collaboration with designers, content creators, and other developers will be an essential part of the role to ensure seamless functionality and excellent user experiences.

Core Requirements

Technical Expertise

Advanced proficiency in WordPress, Webflow, or Shopify (whichever stack you use).

Ability to build custom, modern, conversionfocused designsnot templates.

Strong skills in UI/UX, responsive design, animations, and mobile optimization.

Experience integrating forms, scheduling tools, CRMs, analytics, tracking pixels, and basic automations.

Solid understanding of onpage SEO, site structure, schema, speed optimization, and technical hygiene.

Ability to handle hosting, DNS, migrations, backups, and security best practices.

Design & Branding

Can translate brand guidelines into clean, premium visual layouts.

Skilled with Figma, Adobe XD, or similar tools for mockups and revisions.

Project Execution

Can take a project from concept wireframe build launch with minimal oversight.

Strong documentation habits and ability to follow or improve SOPs.

Excellent communication, deadlines, and revision management

Salary budget - upto 50k Inr

Time - 08:00 pm to 04:30am
