Senior Web Developer

Central Tickets Limited is a product-based company looking for an experienced Senior Web Developer to join our in-house team in Gota, Ahmedabad. This is a full-time, work-from-office role with a 5-day working week, 28 days of annual leave, and a best-in-market salary based on experience.

The role focuses on backend development, knowledge of system design, and building secure, high-performance applications that support our core products.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance backend applications and APIs
• Ability to collaborate on frontendbackend design and implementation
• Design and implement scalable and reliable system architecture
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using Laravel and Node.js
• Design and optimise database structures and queries for performance and scalability
• Work with Nginx and Apache
• Work with AWS services including EC2, S3, and RDS
• Manage code repositories and development workflows using GitHub
• Track tasks, progress, and releases using Jira
• Monitor production systems and resolve complex issues
• Implement security best practices including authentication, authorisation, and data protection (GDPR)
• Support and guide junior developers
• Maintain clear and up-to-date technical documentation

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in backend web development
• Strong hands-on experience with Laravel
• Experience in Node.js is a plus
• Good understanding of MySQL
• Experience building RESTful APIs
• Experience with Docker is an advantage
• Understanding of secure coding practices and application security
• Experience using GitHub and Jira
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Nice to have

• Experience with frontend technologies like React.js
• Familiarity with AWS (EC2, S3, RDS)
• Experience with Docker is an advantage
