Role Description


Borderless is seeking aSenior Wealth Manager / Private Banker HNI & UHNI Client Acquisition (AUM Origination)for a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai.


This is afront-office, revenue-generating role focused on bringing fresh assets under management (AUM) onto the platform, ideally suited for professionals currently working inprivate banking, wealth management, multi-family offices, or investment advisory platforms.


The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing new client relationships, building a strong investor network, and onboarding high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients to the Borderless platform.

Candidates with an existing HNI client network strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities


Originate and onboardnew clients and fresh AUMto the Borderless platform

Build and maintain relationships withHNIs, UHNIs, founders, entrepreneurs, global professionals, and NRIs

Develop and grow a personal pipeline of prospective investors throughnetworking, referrals, and strategic partnerships

Present Borderless global banking and investment platform to prospective clients

Convert prospects into long-term clients and grow their engagement with the platform

Build and manage a scalable book of client assets while maintaining strong client relationships and retention

Identify opportunities to deepen client relationships across global banking, investments, and cross-border financial solutions

Build a book of50200+ crore of client assets over time

Consistently originate newHNI / UHNI client relationships

Establish Borderless as a trusted platform for global investing among your network

Drive meaningful inflows onto the platform through referrals and strategic introductions


Backgrounds That Typically Succeed in This Role


Private bankers from leading banks or wealth platforms

Relationship managers coveringHNI / UHNI clients

Advisors frommulti-family offices or investment advisory firms

Professionals with a strongfounder, entrepreneur, or NRI client network


Ideal Candidate Profile


Proven track record ofraising assets and acquiring new clientsin wealth management, private banking, family offices, or investment advisory

Strong network amongHNI / UHNI / founder / NRI investor communities

Deep understanding of investment products including equities, funds, global portfolios, and alternative investments

Excellent relationship-building, communication, and presentation skills

Entrepreneurial mindset with strong commercial drive and ownership mentality

Experience working with NRI, global professionals, or internationally diversified portfolios is a strong advantage.


Qualifications


512 years of experience in wealth management, private banking, or investment advisory

Relevant certifications such asCFA, CFP, or NISMare advantageous

Bachelors or Masters degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field
