Job Description of L2 Voice Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Provide L2 support for Avaya Aura Communication Manager, Session Manager, and

related voice platforms.

Troubleshoot and resolve escalated incidents related to voice infrastructure, SIP trunks,

call routing, and QoS issues.

Manage and maintain Verint call recording systems, including configuration, upgrades,

and troubleshooting.

Perform root cause analysis for recurring voice issues and implement preventive

measures.

Collaborate with L1 team for ticket escalations and provide guidance/documentation.

Coordinate with vendors for hardware/software issues and patch management.

Ensure compliance with voice security standards and organizational policies.

Participate in voice infrastructure projects, migrations, and capacity planning.

Maintain detailed documentation of configurations, changes, and incident resolution.
