Job Title : Senior Vice President / Vice President Corporate Relations

Function: Corporate Relations, City Intelligence & Development Governance

Reports to: Director Corporate Relations

Locations:

Pune

Mumbai

Hyderabad

(One role in each location)

Role Overview

We are hiring Regional Senior Vice Presidents who will anchor RMZs Regulatory Strategy, City Intelligence, and Development Governance across key metros.

This is a strategic leadership role integrating:

Urban policy

Regulatory approvals

Infrastructure intelligence

Compliance governance

Digital permitting systems

The mandate is to secure approvals efficiently & ethically, institutionalize a pan-India regulatory intelligence framework, and support RMZs future asset strategy.


Key Responsibilities

Regulatory Leadership

  • Lead all regulatory, statutory, planning, environmental and infrastructure approvals for regional RMZ projects.
  • Manage end-to-end permits: development permissions, building plan sanctions, environment clearances, RERA, fire NOCs, aviation height, water/power, IOD/CC (Mumbai), OC, etc.

City Intelligence & Infrastructure Mapping

  • Build a Regulatory Intelligence Repository for the region.
  • Track and interpret key frameworks:
  • South: BMRCL, CMDA DCR, HMDA, metro corridors, FAR/TDR, logistics clusters
  • West: DCPR 2034, TOD/TDR, MMRDA, Pune/Ahmedabad TP schemes
  • North: MPD, TOD, metro expansions, land-use/FAR reforms

Digital Permitting Governance

  • Institutionalize a full-cycle digital permit-tracking system integrated with RMZ Control Rooms.
  • Define SLAs, risk metrics, data schema, governance reporting, and dashboards.

Specialized Permitting Cell (MEP & Digital Infrastructure)

  • Build a permitting cell for power-intensive and digital assets (data centres).
  • Manage DISCOM/TRANSCO interfaces, pollution boards, emissions, DG & backup planning.
  • Standardize telecom, fiber, IT infrastructure documentation and sequencing.

Government & Stakeholder Relations

  • Build trusted relationships with municipal, state, and central authorities.
  • Maintain city-wise contact repositories and drive transparency-based engagement.

Team Leadership

  • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performance regional CR team.
  • Drive cross-functional governance through the City Intelligence Forum (weekly cadence).

Experience

  • 15+ years in regulatory approvals, urban planning, infrastructure policy, real estate development, or compliance governance.
  • Proven track record of managing multi-agency approvals across major Indian metros.
  • Experience with digital permitting systems, workflow tools, and analytics dashboards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Urban Planning, Law, or Public Policy.
  • Masters preferred: Urban/Infrastructure Planning, Construction Management, MBA, Public Administration.
  • Certifications in GIS, Data Analytics, or Project Management preferred.
