Your New Role:

● Lead the design and architecture of complex, large-scale distributed systems ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.

● Engage with global engineering teams and stakeholders, requiring occasional international travel to collaborate on architectural decisions and drive technology alignment across regions.

● Define and implement best practices for system design, API design, security, and high availability.

● Collaborate with engineering teams to create modular, reusable, and extensible architectures.

● Drive the adoption of modern architectural patterns, such as microservices, event-driven architecture, and domain-driven design.

● Conduct technical deep dives, design reviews, and mentoring sessions to ensure high-quality engineering output.

● Optimize system performance by identifying and addressing bottlenecks at scale.

● Research and integrate emerging technologies to keep the architecture future-proof.

● Ensure observability, monitoring, and logging are built into system designs.

● Work closely with product managers and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

What will you bring.

● 10+ years of experience in software engineering and architecture.

● Strong understanding of scalable distributed systems, high availability, and fault tolerance.

● Experience designing and implementing microservices, event-driven architectures, and cloud-native systems.

● Deep expertise in one or more backend technologies (Java, Go, Python, etc.).

● Strong knowledge of databases (SQL, NoSQL), caching strategies, and messaging systems.

● Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and infrastructure as code (Terraform, Pulumi, CloudFormation).

● Expertise in infrastructure technologies like Kubernetes, CI/CD, container orchestration, and service mesh.

● Knowledge of security best practices in application and system design.

● Proven experience in system performance tuning, capacity planning, and scalability analysis.

● Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to guide engineering teams through complex challenges.

Nice to Have:

● Experience in AI/ML infrastructure, big data processing, or edge computing.

● Contributions to open-source projects or active participation in tech communities.
