Senior Roles for Debt Syndication (Marketing)

Location : Mumbai

The Vice President/ SVP Debt Syndication (Marketing) will play a crucial role in generating the debt syndication proposals within the time frame specified while securing the mandate, by walking that extra mile to convince the lender to process the proposal in the shortest possible duration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Generate mandates for Debt Syndication from large and mid corporates in the specified geography.
• Be responsible to meet the targeted mandates for the vertical as per the time frame agreed
• Create and maintain network and relationship with corporate clients for regular mandates
• Be the pivot amongst clients, internal team and lenders for resolving the issues that may crop up from time to time
• Responsible to collect mandates by coordinating with the execution team regularly and be in touch with the client to collect fee upon sanction of funds from lenders
• Overall responsibility to ensure that the proposals are executed and submitted with the lender as per duration initially agreed for.
• Have multi sectoral exposure

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Education: Bachelors degree or Masters in Commerce or other discipline. An MBA is highly preferred.
• Experience: 15+ years of experience in marketing of debt syndication, asset restructuring and other services
• Communication: Excellent verbal, written, and negotiation skills. Strong ability to lead and influence.
• Knowledge of operational management principles, process optimization, and technology integration.
• Familiarity with risk management and quality assurance techniques relevant to debt syndication process with various sectoral exposure.
• A go-getter with a pleasing personality but have an asserting quality to convince others.
