Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Traffic Manager at Loadit Supply Services Pvt Ltd in Delhi, India. The Traffic Manager will be responsible for developing and expanding new vendor relationships, managing traffic operations, optimizing logistics processes, and ensuring timely deliveries.

Qualifications

Key Responsibilities

1. Vehicle Placement & Planning

• Plan and arrange vehicles as per daily load requirements
• Coordinate with transporters, brokers, and fleet owners for timely vehicle placement
• Ensure optimal vehicle utilization and route planning

2. Shipment Tracking & Control

• Monitor live movement of vehicles using GPS / manual tracking
• Ensure proactive follow-ups in case of delays, breakdowns, or route deviations
• Provide regular and accurate status updates to internal teams / clients

3. Coordination & Issue Resolution

• Act as a single point of contact between drivers, transporters, warehouses, and clients
• Handle operational challenges such as delays, non-placement, detention, and delivery issues
• Coordinate for re-routing, transshipment, or alternate vehicle arrangements when required

4. Documentation & Compliance

• Ensure timely collection and submission of PODs
• Verify documentation related to trips, deliveries, and exceptions
• Ensure adherence to company SOPs and client-specific requirements

5. Cost & Performance Control

• Monitor freight rates and control operational costs
• Track detention, halt, and delay reasons to reduce avoidable expenses
• Maintain transporter performance records and service ratings

6. Team & Process Management

• Coordinate with tracking executives and operations team
• Ensure tasks are completed within defined TATs
• Suggest process improvements for better efficiency and transparency
