WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT TO US
The Senior Testing Services Consultant at SimCorp, plays a vital role in delivering advanced testing services to ensure the reliability, functionality, and performance of SimCorp’s solutions. With typically 3+ years of experience in testing or quality assurance, this role works semi-independently to design and execute test plans, resolve complex testing challenges, and contribute to the continuous improvement of testing practices. The Senior Consultant collaborates with stakeholders, provides guidance to junior team members, and ensures alignment of testing activities with organizational and client requirements
WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
- Design and execute advanced test plans, cases, and scripts to validate software functionality and performance
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather testing requirements and ensure alignment with business and project objectives
- Identify, log, and track defects, ensuring timely resolution and communicating updates to relevant teams
- Implement and refine testing methodologies to improve efficiency, accuracy, and reliability of testing outcomes
- Mentor and support junior team members, sharing expertise and promoting best practices in testing
- Monitor testing metrics to assess the effectiveness of testing efforts and identify areas for improvement
- Contribute to the adoption and integration of automated testing tools to streamline testing processes
- Develop and maintain testing documentation, including test plans, results, and reports

- Supporting the development and refinement of testing standards to ensure consistency and quality across projects
- Monitoring industry trends to incorporate best practices and innovations into SimCorp’s testing services
