Senior Quality Engineer (Automation & Leadership)

We are looking for a senior QA engineer with strong automation depth and prior team leadership exposure to work on a complex, enterprise-grade web product.

This role sits at the intersection of hands-on automation , technical depth , and leading junior QA engineers . You may eventually align to either a QA Automation Lead or QA Team Lead track based on strengths.

What actually matters

• Strong hands-on automation experience (Playwright is mandatory)
• Ability to design, extend, and maintain automation frameworks
• Excellent SQL skills (you will be tested on this)
• Hands-on experience with Java and JavaScript / TypeScript
• Experience leading or mentoring QA engineers
• Comfortable working in Agile / CI-CD environments
• Ability to go deep technically and survive senior-level interviews

What will NOT work

• Superficial automation experience
• Weak SQL fundamentals
• Candidates who fail deep technical rounds
• Frequent job switchers (short tenures repeatedly)
