Senior Test Engineer

Experience: 4+ Years

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute manual API test cases using Postman and Swagger (OpenAPI) to validate RESTful and SOAP-based APIs.
• Develop and maintain automated API test suites using RestSharp integrated with SpecFlow (Gherkin-based BDD) for behavior-driven test scenarios.
• Knowledge in performance and load testing using JMeter , including scenario design, test execution, analysis, and reporting.
• Write and maintain SQL queries to validate data integrity, backend database states, and expected outcomes during test execution.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand API contracts, integration points, and business logic to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Implement and manage test automation frameworks with version control using Git , including branching strategies, pull requests, code reviews, and CI/CD integration.
• Integrate automated API and regression test suites into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps) for timely feedback.
• Document test results, report defects using JIRA , and track resolution timelines.
• Contribute to test strategy, test planning, and release readiness assessments.
