Senior Test Engineer

We are currently looking out for Senior Test Engineer for Liabilities - Finacle Testing / Manual Testing.

Experience - 8 to 13 Years

Location - Chennai and Mumbai

Notice period - Immediate to 15 Days

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform manual testing of Finacle Liabilities module (CASA, Term Deposits, etc.)
• Understand business requirements and prepare test scenarios, test cases, and test data
• Execute functional, regression, and system testing
• Validate end-to-end banking workflows related to deposits and liabilities
• Identify, log, and track defects using defect management tools
• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders for requirement clarity
• Participate in test planning, test execution, and reporting activities
• Ensure compliance with banking domain standards and regulatory requirements

Key Skills Required:

• Strong experience in Finacle
• Good understanding of Liabilities module (CASA, FD, RD, interest calculations, etc.)
• Hands-on experience in manual testing methodologies and SDLC/STLC
• Knowledge of banking domain and core banking systems
• Experience with defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, HP ALM)
• Ability to write clear and concise test cases and reports

Good to Have:

• Exposure to Finacle scripting or customization
• Experience in API testing or SQL queries
• Knowledge of Agile methodology
• Prior experience in banking projects (Indian or international banks)
