Role Overview

The Senior Technical Project Manager (Senior TPM) plays a critical leadership role in delivering complex, multi-stream digital initiatives across product engineering, platform engineering, and enterprise integrations. This role goes beyond execution, owning delivery strategy, stakeholder leadership, and alignment of engineering outcomes with business value.

Delivery Leadership

• Own end-to-end delivery of large, business-critical programmes
• Define delivery strategy, milestones, dependencies, and success metrics
• Manage multiple workstreams across product, platform, integrations, and data
• Drive predictable, high-quality delivery across distributed teams

Technical & Architectural Alignment

• Partner closely with solution architects and engineering leads
• Understand architecture, integration patterns, and non-functional requirements
• Proactively manage technical risks and cross-team dependencies
• Ensure alignment with long-term architectural direction

Client & Stakeholder Management

• Act as the primary senior point of contact for clients
• Lead governance forums, steering committees, and executive updates
• Manage expectations proactively and transparently

Agile Programme Management

• Drive Agile delivery at scale (Scrum, Kanban, hybrid)
• Track health using metrics (velocity, quality, risks, predictability)
• Coach teams on delivery best practices

Risk, Quality & Governance

• Own programme-level RAID management
• Define quality gates and release readiness criteria
• Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements

Mentorship & Delivery Maturity

• Mentor TPMs and Delivery Leads, improving delivery frameworks
• Support pre-sales delivery planning and estimations
  

• 8+ years managing complex software / digital transformation programmes
• Experience delivering enterprise-scale platforms and integrations
• Strong understanding of modern architectures: APIs, microservices, cloud-native
• Excellent senior stakeholder management and communication skills
• Deep experience with Agile delivery at scale
  

• Domain experience: FinTech, Healthcare, Retail, Hospitality, Public Sector
• Certifications: PMP / PRINCE2 / SAFe / CSM
• Experience working with UK or US clients

• Predictable delivery of complex programmes
• Trusted partner to clients and internal leadership
• Proactive risk management and transparent governance
• Improved delivery maturity across teams
  

• Lead enterprise-grade digital initiatives with real scale and complexity
• Work closely with senior leadership, architects, and engineering heads
• Clear progression path to Programme Director / Delivery Director
