About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Program Manager with 815 years of experience and a strong foundation in software development. The ideal candidate must have transitioned from a hands-on engineering role into program management and should be comfortable driving large, complex, cross-functional technology programs end-to-end.

This role requires deep technical understanding, stakeholder management, delivery ownership, and the ability to align engineering execution with business goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and drive end-to-end delivery of multiple concurrent technical programs.
• Translate business objectives into structured execution plans with clear milestones and KPIs.
• Work closely with Engineering, Product, QA, DevOps, and Business teams to ensure alignment.
• Lead sprint planning, release planning, and roadmap execution tracking.
• Identify risks early, create mitigation plans, and proactively manage dependencies.
• Drive architecture discussions with engineering teams (technical depth required).
• Ensure delivery within scope, timeline, and budget.
• Improve program governance, reporting mechanisms, and delivery frameworks.
• Establish best practices in Agile/Scrum or hybrid methodologies.
• Manage stakeholder communication including leadership updates.

Required Qualifications

• 815 years of total experience in software engineering and program management.
• Minimum 46 years in a Program Manager / Technical Program Manager role.
• Strong prior hands-on experience in backend / full-stack / distributed systems development.
• Experience working in product-based companies or high-growth startups preferred.
• Solid understanding of:
• System architecture
• APIs & microservices
• Databases & scaling concepts
• Cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure)
• CI/CD & DevOps practices
• Proven experience managing cross-functional teams (10+ members).
• Experience handling multi-team program execution.
• Strong risk management and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in SaaS / B2B platforms.
• PMP / CSM / SAFe certification (good to have).
• Experience in scaling engineering teams.
• Exposure to data-driven decision-making frameworks.
