Job Description

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering or Electrical Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience
5 years of experience in telecommunications, low-voltage, fiber-optics, or critical systems construction management.
5 years of experience working in data centers or similar mission critical environments where work involves impact to core functionalities and is governed with formal change control processes.
5 years of project or construction management experience with network infrastructure (e.g., fiber optic cabling, cable tray, racks, etc).

Preferred qualifications:

Certification in Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD), Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar.
Knowledge of fast-track design build processes.
Understanding of large-scale facility electrical and mechanical systems relative to network infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Plan the requirements with internal customers and external partners to user projects through the entire project life-cycle.
Work with customers to develop project scopes, managing project schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating goals to project stakeholders.
Manage projects of various size and scope, identify future opportunities, improve processes and drive the technical directions of assigned programs.
Manage large-scale technical projects in a rapidly changing industry, be able to tolerate ambiguity and demonstrate problem-solving leadership with limited oversight.
