Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Manager to lead engineering teams, drive technical excellence, and ensure the successful delivery of scalable, high-quality software solutions. The ideal candidate will bring a strong mix of hands-on technical expertise, leadership capability, strategic thinking, and stakeholder management skills.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and manage multiple engineering teams across projects
Own system architecture, technical design decisions, and overall scalability
Collaborate closely with Product, Business, and QA teams to align technology with business objectives
Establish and enforce best practices in coding standards, testing, security, and performance optimization
Review system designs, code quality, and technical documentation
Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of projects
Identify technical risks early and proactively define mitigation strategies
Support hiring, onboarding, mentoring, and performance management of engineering team members
Stay up to date with emerging technologies and recommend adoption where applicable
Ensure compliance with security, data protection, and regulatory requirements
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
10+ years of hands-on experience in software development
46+ years of experience in technical leadership and people management roles
Strong expertise in system architecture, design patterns, and scalable application development
Strong proficiency in PHP and Laravel framework
Experience working with modern backend technologies and frameworks
Solid understanding of databases, APIs, microservices architecture, and CI/CD pipelines
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills
Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management abilities
Good to Have
Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments
Exposure to DevOps practices and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
Prior experience in product-based or fast-growing technology companies
