Senior Technical Architect

We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Architect Platform to design, architect, and scale secure, high-performance distributed systems across the healthcare data ecosystem.

This role requires deep expertise across frontend, backend, cloud-native architectures, automation frameworks, event-driven systems, and DevOps practices. The ideal candidate will not only build scalable systems but define architectural standards, lead platform-level decisions, and mentor engineering teams.

You will own High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD), ensure scalability, resilience, security, cost efficiency, and guide cross-functional teams in delivering production-grade systems. The role demands strong expertise in microservices, cloud platforms (AWS/GCP), containerized deployments, automation frameworks, and modern frontend/backend architectures.

• Own platform architecture and drive end-to-end system design across services
• Design scalable, resilient microservice and event-driven architectures
• Architect secure, well-structured RESTful APIs and integration contracts
• Lead distributed systems design (idempotency, retries, circuit breakers, fault tolerance)
• Architect message-driven systems using Kafka / SQS / Pub-Sub or equivalent
• Design secure authentication and authorization mechanisms (JWT, OAuth, RBAC)
• Define data modeling standards across relational and NoSQL databases
• Optimize system performance, scalability, and cloud cost efficiency
• Implement observability standards (logging, metrics, tracing, alerting)
• Design CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows for automated build, test, and deployment
• Architect containerized deployments using Docker and Kubernetes
• Ensure security best practices including encryption, secrets management, and audit logging
• Review and approve HLD/LLD documents across teams
• Mentor engineers and drive engineering best practices
• Lead architecture discussions and influence technical roadmap decisions

• Strong expertise in data structures, OOPS, SOLID principles, and design patterns
• Experience architecting and delivering large-scale production systems
• Strong debugging, root-cause analysis, and performance tuning skills
• Deep understanding of distributed systems and concurrency

• Strong experience with React (functional components, hooks, modern JavaScript ES6+)
• Ability to define scalable frontend architectures and reusable component libraries
• Experience with state management and async data handling
• Performance optimization (lazy loading, code splitting)
• Accessibility and responsive UI design

• Strong experience with Node.js (NestJS preferred) and/or Python, Java, or .NET
• Experience designing scalable RESTful APIs
• Knowledge of backend architecture patterns (DI, middleware, request lifecycle)
• Event-driven and asynchronous programming
• Experience with message brokers (Kafka, Redis Streams, SQS, Pub/Sub)
• Resilience patterns (circuit breaker, retry policies, rate limiting)

• Strong experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL / MSSQL)
• Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB or equivalent)
• Expertise in data modeling and performance optimization
• Indexing strategy and query optimization
• Data consistency and transaction management across services

• Strong experience with AWS services (CodeCommit, SQS, Lambda, CloudWatch, CodePipeline)
• Experience with GCP services (Pub/Sub, Kubernetes, KEDA)
• Containerization using Docker
• Kubernetes-based deployments and scaling strategies
• Infrastructure awareness and cost optimization strategies

• Designing and managing CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline)
• Environment configuration and secrets management
• Logging, monitoring, and distributed tracing
• Production incident management and system stability improvements

• Automation using Selenium, Playwright, or equivalent
• Experience building UI/API automation frameworks
• Familiarity with generative AI tools (GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar) for engineering productivity

• 8+ years designing and building scalable distributed systems
• Prior experience architecting microservices and event-driven systems
• Experience working in healthcare, fintech, or regulated industries
• Experience with platform modernization and legacy transformation
• Strong mentoring and cross-team technical leadership experience
