About our Team
 As an extension of Tolley’s UK expertise, our Bangalore Tax Hub plays a vital role in supporting UK tax professionals. In addition to creating and reviewing high-quality tax content, our team manages core UK customer support, student enrollments, invoicing, and provides assistance for the Online Exam Centre. We also collaborate on strategic projects with our UK colleagues.

About the Role
A Senior Tax Specialist will be responsible for updating existing content and creating new tax content for our online product portal (this includes updating all references to tax years on key products across Tolley, updating and checking all numerical examples within the content).
 

 Responsibilities

• Updating existing content and creating new tax content for our online product portal

• Current awareness news creation for our online product portal.

• Responsible for updating and maintaining Global mobility content on hub.

• Suggesting improvements in tax technical material and processes.

• Ensuring that work is completed to a high degree of accuracy and within timelines

• Demonstrating strong attention to detail, even with routine tasks.

• Multitasking – being able to manage multiple opportunities and tasks at any given time, whilst ensuring deadlines are adhered to.

Requirements

• Good understanding of UK tax and tax accounting

• Bachelor’s degree with 4-6 years of previous experience working in a professional services environment or equivalent.

• Related experience in UK tax and executing global mobility tax processes in a corporate environment. Preferred ACCA or ATT certification.

• Netherlands Corporate Income Tax (CIT) compliance and/or tax accounting experience.

•  Experience partnering with offshore hubs/centres of excellence and reviewing output to a high standard.

• Familiarity with VAT governance frameworks, employment tax processes, and/or HMRC interactions.

• Advanced proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel and Generative AI tools specifically in CHAT GPT and Co-Pilot.
