Senior Tax Accountant

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Account Executive to manage day-to-day accounting and statutory compliance activities.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in accounting practices, payroll processing, and regulatory compliance, including GST, TDS, PF, ESIC, and Professional Tax. The role involves ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including financial transactions, reconciliations, and record maintenance
• Process monthly payroll, ensuring accurate salary calculations and statutory deductions
• Handle Provident Fund (PF) payments and filings
• Manage Professional Tax calculations and compliance
• Prepare and file ESIC returns within statutory timelines
• Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B)
• Manage TDS calculations, payments, and return filings
• Ensure compliance with SEZ requirements (SOFTEX, SERF filings)
• Coordinate with internal teams and external consultants for compliance and reporting
• Maintain proper documentation for audits and regulatory purposes

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce
• 46 years of experience in accounting and statutory compliance
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, PF, ESIC, and Professional Tax
• Experience in payroll processing and statutory deductions
• Familiarity with SEZ compliance (SOFTEX, SERF) is preferred
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good analytical, organisational, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work independently
