Senior Talend + SQL Developer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Talend + SQL Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL pipelines and data integration solutions.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in Talend Data Integration, advanced SQL, and working with large datasets in enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy ETL jobs using Talend Data Integration
• Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and performance-tuned queries
• Integrate data from multiple sources (RDBMS, APIs, flat files, cloud platforms)
• Optimize ETL workflows for performance and scalability
• Perform data validation, cleansing, and transformation
• Troubleshoot and resolve production data issues
• Collaborate with Data Engineers, BI teams, and business stakeholders
• Maintain documentation for ETL processes and data mappings

Required Skills & Experience:

• 47 years of experience in Talend ETL development
• Experience with Talend Cloud/Talend Big Data
• Strong hands-on experience with SQL (SQL Server/PostgreSQL)
• Experience in writing complex joins, CTEs, window functions
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts (Star/Snowflake schema)
• Experience with performance tuning and query optimization
• Familiarity with REST APIs and file-based integrations (CSV, XML, JSON)
• Understanding of scheduling tools (Cron, Control-M, etc.)
• Good debugging and analytical skills
