Job Description
DESCRIPTION
Key Responsibilities
Customer-Facing Engineering:
Consult with end customers and distributors to understand technical requirements.
Provide engineering recommendations and value engineering solutions.
Develop submittal drawings and operational philosophy documentation.
Support customer-facing problem resolution and change management.
System Design & Hardware Development:
Create AutoCAD Electrical drawings and design documentation.
Develop and release Bills of Materials (BOMs).
Prepare shop folder documentation for manufacturing.
Generate high-quality technical documentation and as-built drawings.
Follow the project schedule and ensure on-time deliverables.
Product & Process Engineering:
Apply tools like ESW, iDFMEA, 7-Step Problem Solving, and FIRG to ensure product integrity.
Investigate technical issues, identify root causes, and recommend solutions.
Interface with multiple stakeholders (suppliers, manufacturing, purchasing, etc.) to ensure quality product decisions.
Contribute to technical reviews and cross-functional design integration.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent STEM field.
Post-graduate degree (preferred for select roles).
AutoCAD Electrical experience is mandatory .
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

QUALIFICATIONS
Desired Experience
6+ years of professional engineering experience.
Internships, co-ops, or extracurricular technical project experience are strongly preferred.
Experience with generator sets, control panels, switchgear, or electronic controls is a plus.
Exposure to manufacturing and product development environments.
Technical Skills
Electrical power distribution systems understanding.
Knowledge of generator set and switchgear/control panel design.
Competency in statistical methods and technical documentation.
Familiarity with open/closed loop control systems.
Application of systems thinking to solve complex technical problems.
