Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Systems Engineer with 1 to 4 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in ITIL V4 Service Now PL/SQL and Unix. This role involves working in a hybrid model with rotational shifts. The candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving our systems ensuring seamless operations and contributing to the overall success of our projects.
Responsibilities
Lead the implementation and maintenance of ITIL V4 processes to ensure efficient service management.Oversee the configuration and customization of Service Now to meet business requirements.Provide support for PL/SQL database management ensuring data integrity and optimal performance.Monitor and manage Unix systems ensuring high availability and reliability.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve system issues promptly.Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations processes and procedures.Conduct regular system audits and implement necessary updates and patches.Assist in the development of automation scripts to streamline system operations.Participate in the design and implementation of new system features and enhancements.Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices in all system operations.Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and other team members.Analyze system performance and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency.Contribute to the continuous improvement of IT service delivery processes.
Qualifications
Must have experience with ITIL V4 processes and best practices.Must have hands-on experience with Service Now configuration and customization.Must have strong knowledge of PL/SQL for database management.Must have experience with Unix system administration.Nice to have experience in the Transactions domain.Must be able to work in a hybrid model with rotational shifts.Must have excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Must have strong communication and collaboration skills.Must be detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks effectively.Must be proactive in identifying and addressing system issues.Must be committed to continuous learning and professional development.Must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.Must be adaptable to changing priorities and project requirements.
