Job Description

We are looking for an expert cloud system engineer for one of our global healthcare enterprise customers.

The role AWS System Architect is a key role in building and implementing customer infrastructure from a ground-up approach and defining the futuristic roadmap for the next 5 years. This role is as exciting as this engineer would be joining the outstanding group of multiple global AWS cloud architects across the regions.


Responsibilities:


AWS Expertise

  • Define infrastructure strategy and plan, which includes hardware, networking and software (OS, Application, security, monitoring) on AWS Cloud
  • Continuous monitoring and optimization of resources on the cloud platform, Infrastructure sizing for the application
  • Disaster planning hot switching, cold switching, backup & restore
  • Implementing system and application audit processes
  • Writing shell scripts to accomplish sys admin tasks (Templates, Cloud formation,
  • Setup and maintain Linux, Unix OS based servers, configure hardware and software based firewall
  • Setup, configure and maintain database (MySQL, Oracle, Mongo DB), Setup, configure and lead web/app servers Apache, NGINX, IIS.
  • Performance tune web/app servers. Setup, configure and maintain DB and webserver clustering
  • Automate network, DB, webserver/app server monitoring & alert configuration. As required, setup and configure SMTP, DNS, SSL, SFTP
  • Tackle webserver, DB, network issues related to fault, performance, security
  • Implement or deploy any software libraries or dependencies you may need during the course of your work


Qualifications:


  1. API Development & Integration
  • Design, develop, and deploy RESTful on AWS using API Gateway.
  • Integrate APIs with external systems (e.g., Salesforce, Veeva, Marketo) and internal databases (DynamoDB, RDS or equivalent experience).
  • Ensure APIs are secure, scalable, and optimized for performance.
  1. API Platform Management
  • Build and maintain the API layer using AWS services like API Gateway and Lambda.
  • Implement versioning strategies to handle API changes without impacting consumers.
  • Monitor, fix, and optimize API performance.
  1. Security & Compliance
  • Implement authentication and authorization (e.g., OAuth 2.0, AWS Cognito, API Gateway with IAM).
  • Ensure compliance with security standard processes (encryption, audit logs, and rate limiting).

Required Technical Skills

  • API Development: Node.js (or Python/Java), REST APIs
  • AWS Services: API Gateway, Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, RDS, CloudWatch
  • Security: AWS IAM, Cognito, Secrets Manager, OAuth 2.0
  • Good to have:
  1. CI/CD Tools: AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, GitHub Actions (optional)
  2. IaC: CloudFormation, AWS CDK, or Terraform

Educational qualification:


  • Graduate or postgraduate degree in Computer Science or Engineering, System Admin certification - AWS certified solution architect, LPIC, RHCE, VCP6-DCV, network certification like CCNA, ITIL certified,

Experience:


Experience: 5 8 Years

  • API Development: One should have experience working with API REST services design and development for over 5 years
  • API Gateway Design: One should have hands-on implementation experience using AWS API Gateway services using Lambda for over 3 years (API Gateway, Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, RDS, CloudWatch)
  • Programming skills for API development: One should have experience designing API using Python/Node.js/Java for over 4 years
  • AWS Security: One should have deep implementation experience AWS IAM, Cognito, Secrets Manager, OAuth 2.0
