Position: Senior Structural Engineer, Concrete

Department: Structures & Bridges

Experience: 3 to 15 years in Concrete structures design

Skillsets:

Hands on experience in analysis design of reinforced concrete structures like high-rises, stadiums, airports, malls, Culverts, Tanks etc.
Knowledge of international Codes and Standards
Understanding of loads & load paths
Understanding of Seismic and Wind load parameters with applicable design approaches
Knowledge of materials and specifications
Knowledge about third party review process
Ability to coordinate and negotiate structural requirements with other trades.
Ability to work in a team, lead a team of junior engineers and technicians to deliver quality drawings and documents.
Preparation of technical reports and presentations
Preparation of Bill of Quantities
Review shop drawings.
Aware of quality procedures.
Prepare Design criteria reports, presentations.
Good interpersonal skills and communication skills in English.
Should be open for short travel and deputation to other countries/offices, when required.
Technical report writing skills.
Exposure to construction techniques and practices in middle east
Ability to estimate, plan and implement design programs to meet project requirements and deadlines.
Ability to read and comprehend drawings of other trades Architectural, MEP, transportation etc.
Ability to formulate and make excel sheets or prepare programs to facilitate routine tasks in analysis & design.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve structural engineering problems encountered during design process.

Requirements:

Candidate should have core design experience of 7+ years in design of concrete structures.
Good experience of using software like ETABS, SAFE, SAP etc.
Knowledge of Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD
Work experience in Gulf countries with international codes preferred.
Knowledge of Rhino, Grasshopper, python etc. will be an added advantage.
Knowledge of PT design with software like RAM concept will be preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

Masters degree in structural engineering from reputed institute preferably through GATE qualification having majors in earthquake engineering, dynamics, FEM.
