Job Profile:

The Senior Structural Design Manager will lead the structural engineering team in Bangalore and manage end-to-end delivery of structural design packages for UAE projects. This includes design leadership, coordination with Dubai teams, technical reviews, compliance with UAE codes, and ensuring timely, high-quality deliverables across multiple projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership and Management
• Lead the Bangalore-based structural engineering team.
• Plan project resources, manage workload, and monitor team performance.
• Guide and mentor engineers; conduct performance evaluations.
• Ensure structural deliverables meet the timelines of Dubai office.
• Structural Design & Technical Oversight
• Review and approve structural design concepts, analyses, drawings, and reports.
• Provide design direction for reinforced concrete, steel, and post-tensioned structures.
• Ensure compliance with UAE building codes, Dubai Municipality, Trakhees, and international standards.
• Supervise all phases of design: concept schematic detailed IFC.
• Coordinate structural systems with architecture and MEP for full integration.
• Conduct design audits and QA/QC reviews.
• Project Management & Delivery
• Manage multiple UAE projects simultaneously.
• Prepare project schedules, track progress, and ensure deliverable quality.
• Coordinate design submissions for Dubai authority approvals.
• Support Dubai office in client meetings, design reviews, and value-engineering.
• Provide technical clarifications during tender and construction phases.
• Coordination with Dubai Office
• Act as the primary liaison between the Bangalore structural team and Dubai structural leads.
• Provide status updates, address technical queries, and ensure design alignment.
• Participate in weekly design coordination & review meetings

Skills Required:

• Masters degree in Civil/Structural Engineering (preferred).
• 2025 years of experience, including 10+ years in structural design and 5+ years in leadership roles.
• Strong familiarity with UAE codes, seismic/wind design, and local authority processes.
• Expertise in:
• ETABS, STAAD Pro, SAFE, Revit Structure, AutoCAD (mandatory)
• Structural analysis, load path design, RCC/steel systems, foundation & soil interaction
• Experience in high-rise, mixed-use, commercial, and industrial UAE projects.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• UAE/GCC project experience is a strong advantage.
