JOB PURPOSE

To support internal strategy development and program manage strategic direction and initiatives for a large BFSI business unit, ensuring alignment with overall group priorities and governance standards.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Conduct regular sector scanning for the assigned business segment at both domestic and global levels and prepare insights, reports, and presentations on industry trends, emerging developments, and thought leadership for management review.
  • Structure, plan, and execute benchmarking studies across industries on selected strategic topics and best practices to support long-range strategy development.
  • Collaborate with business and leadership teams to co-create long-range strategic plans and ensure alignment with broader organizational priorities.
  • Partner with functional and business leadership to identify StartStopContinue priorities to guide strategic investments and initiatives.
  • Track, monitor, and report progress of key transformation initiatives and analyze their impact on strategic objectives such as growth, capital deployment, and product mix.
  • Maintain continuous monitoring of the competitive landscape and market developments and share dashboards and insights with relevant stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain a knowledge management repository capturing strategic learnings, projects, and initiatives to enable sharing of best practices across business units.
  • Participate in periodic strategic reviews, gather updates on ongoing initiatives, and support leadership reporting on progress and strategic outcomes.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

  • Deep understanding of the BFSI sector (NBFC, Insurance, Housing Finance)
  • Strong research and analytical capabilities
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to synthesize insights into strategic recommendations
