Senior Staff Engineer - Code-First SDET - Build AI Test Automation Frameworks

We're seeking an exceptional Staff SDET to lead test automation strategy for our AI and SaaS platforms. This is a high-impact role where you'll shape testing frameworks, drive automation innovation, and ensure our enterprise solutions deliver reliability at scale. What You'll Do

• Lead test automation strategy and roadmap for AI and SaaS platforms, driving continuous improvements in automation, test coverage, and release quality
• Design and implement scalable automation frameworks for API, UI, and data validation testing, leveraging AI tools for intelligent test automation
• Collaborate with Data Science and Engineering teams to validate AI/ML workflows, analytics pipelines, and model integration in production environments
• Drive performance, security, and regression testing initiatives to ensure enterprise-grade reliability
• Perform root cause and trend analysis to identify gaps and recommend automation or process enhancements
• Ensure comprehensive end-to-end testing across microservices, APIs, mobile, and web applications in multi-tenant cloud environments
• Document test automation processes, release notes, and best practices while maintaining alignment with Agile/SAFe methodologies.

What You Bring

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 710+ years of experience in Software Test Automation and quality engineering with extensive automation expertise
• Expert-level proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript)
• Proven ability to understand complex features, write comprehensive test cases, and develop automation scripts with robust validation
• Strong hands-on experience creating and maintaining custom test automation frameworks
• Experience testing complex systems including end-to-end, longevity, reliability, migration, and performance testing
• Experience building and deploying AI testing strategies for foundation models, prompt engineering, fine-tuning, RAG, or Generative AI frameworks (LangChain, Guidance, etc.)
• Deep understanding of CI/CD workflows and tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, CircleCI)
• Proven ability to design test strategies for complex, distributed systems
• Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills

Preferred:

• Familiarity with microservices architectures and testing methodologies
• Experience with performance/load testing tools (JMeter, Gatling, k6)
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (GCP/AWS/Azure)
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments
• Prior mentorship or leadership experience in test automation teams
• Experience testing data-driven applications
